Living Water Emmaus,
This year is taking off fast, and we already find ourselves in March with one Men’s walk behind us. The Lord is blessing us this year, with new members and a hunger for Him. Ministry is just fertile this year, and men and women alike are desiring to know the Lord like never before. The men’s walk was the first full walk-in years. However, 34 men showed up and you cannot tell me that wasn’t His exact plan. Praise God, eleven new members showed up for the first community after that walk.
The fourth day talk was powerful, and you could feel the presence of God all over it. Upon the announcement of Women’s walk 112 (Patsy Ivy), you can just feel a presence around it. Praise God, the women’s walk is full before the first team meeting, with a “rollover” list to go with it. Emmaus is a tool the Lord uses to build leaders in the church. Come as you are! The Lord will use this tool to develop your gifts and share His testimony that is in you. This is the year to strengthen Emmaus and build community. This is year that we honor Him in our community.
Emmaus needs new servants, that desire to serve in the following capacity. We will have places on walks to serve this year. We will have “send offs” and “candle lights” to attend. We will have places to serve on the board. We will create committees to serve in, that will contact previous members and onboard new ones. We always have room for men and women to make walk agape. Make yourself known and get involved. The Lord has a place for each one of us in the community. My prayer is that you seek it out.

Walk #111 Walk Lay Director Leader
Men’s Walk 111 will not soon be forgotten. No, I didn’t mean to say it that way. Men’s Walk 111 will not ever be forgotten. Significant life and eternally decisive heart changes occurred on Walk 111 for its pilgrims, their sponsors, the team, their families, our Emmaus Living Water Community, and numerous area churches.
(Deuteronomy 7:9) Know therefore that the Lord your God; He is the faithful God, keeping His promises of love to a thousand generations of those who love Him and keep His commandments.
If God’s Word says it is; then It Is. Therefore, it should more correctly be said, “Men’s Walk 111 will not be forgotten.” Furthermore, as per God’s covenant with mankind, it will be a life spring for many generations to come. “When you seek Me and you will find me when you seek Me with all of your heart. (Jeremiah 29:13).
It’s Jesus. Every minute of every hour of every hour of every day... It’s Jesus. That’s the Walk 111 takeaway
There was a moment of praise and worship just before lunch, Friday, (Day One) while at the distant wall opposite from me, on the screen reflecting the words to worship, I caught a moment observing from Saint Else Where’s Table, when I was tempted to snap a picture. Brother Lamar had flagrantly stressed... there were to be no recordings or no off script pictures of the walk as prescribed by the Upper Room’s authority. I had my cell phone in hand and pointed towards the table groups embracing the praise with hands lifted, swaying to the rhythmic call to worship, the Holy Spirit hovering its heavy, but uplifting protective authority upon us, and I prayed that the Upper Room’s Upper Authority would cause my cell phone to miraculously take the scene captive... Oh! Such a beautifully miraculous moment to remember and give testimony. God didn’t press that button on my cell phone as I had prayed for; in actuality, a picture could not have adequately captured it, and no words can describe the places of similar worship where the devil, Satan cannot intrude, has no authority, into a sanctuary where the only focus is upon the Enduring, Indwelling Love of God, where absolutely all five senses can be and are activated by the binding together by another sense, that of the Holy Spirit presence.
One more verse: (John 14:26-27) 26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and remind you of everything I have said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the prince of this world (Satan) gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
So, now I understand it; as well the men on Walk 111 understand it. Just remember what I’ve described only day One. It got even much better, and... In the days to come, in the generations to come it will become even more powerful. We will give it in encouragement to family and others as God’s Word gave it to us on Walk 111... “When you seek me, you will find Me when you seek Me with all of your heart.” The heart of Walk 111 has Found You (God) as well, and in witness to others throughout all the days ahead while we are seeking You. Also, from the team, the pilgrims, and the heart of 111, words cannot express the appreciation of the outside loving support from the whole Living Water Emmaus Community that wrapped us within the unforgettable cloak of God’s love. Thank you!
